J. Michael Gallagher

Michael Gallagher maintains the position as Chief Strategy Officer of Central Valley Medical Providers. He is a nationally recognized health care and public policy expert and is also President of J. Michael Gallagher & Associates, Inc. He has held numerous positions throughout his career: Former Executive Vice President, Saint Agnes Medical Center; Senior Vice President, Dignity Health (CHW); President, Hospital Council of Northern and Central California; Chief Strategy Officer, North San Joaquin Valley Health Systems Agency/Regional Emergency Medical Services Agency (public joint powers authority).

Mike has a passion for non-profit organizations and fundraising and is also the founder of Northern and Central California Cancer Tumor Registries.

Anugeet Aujla

Anugeet Aujla is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Central Valley Medical Providers. Prior to being promoted to this position in January 2020, she was formerly, Regional Vice President of Operations at Central Valley Medical Providers and Director, Provider Practices at Conifer Health Solutions. Anugeet brings a unique perspective on care delivery models and risk management. She is a health care expert with her extensive experience in managed care operations.

Anugeet earned her master's degree in Health Administration at the University of Southern California and her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Robert Severs

Bob Severs is key consultant to Central Valley Medical Providers leadership team. Prior to his consulting role with Central Valley Medical Providers (formerly Saint Agnes Medical Group), he was instrumental as Managing Director of Network Development and Physician Integration overseeing the physician strategic alliance between Dignity Heath and Saint Agnes Medical Center (a Trinity hospital), in addition to assessing the ability of the Hospital and its healthcare partners to assume risk under a Restricted Knox Keene License in the Central Valley.

Bob is former President and CEO of GEMCare Mercy Memorial Health System LLC in Bakersfield, California, where he was responsible for the expanded operations to the Central California Coast. GEMCARE was a $300 million dollar health system, licensed Medicare Advantage Plan, which included a 300 member Independent Physician Association and a 250 employee Management Service Organization (MSO).

John Zweifler, MD

John Zweifler, MD has joined Central Valley Medical Providers as its Medical Director. Doctor Zweifler is a family physician with decades of experience in primary care, medical education, and health care administration. He currently works on COVID-related activities and population health and social determinants of health with the Fresno County Department of Public Health, supervises residents in ambulatory settings with the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Fresno Family Medicine Residency Program, and is a medical consultant with The Terry Group. He has been in a number of medical leadership roles and has spoken on a variety of topics including quality improvement, health care delivery, health disparities, and value-based care. Throughout his career, he has provided care to rural and underserved communities. He is the author of the e-books, “Tipping Health Care in the Right Direction”, and “Pop Health”.
